Months before my husband go home from work, I did research in different places near in our place that we can spend our honeymoon. I was looking for a place that has a friendly environment and romantic. My cousin, who used to study in Dumaguete suggested me to have my vacation in
Thalatta Resort located in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental. Before we can reach the place, we traveled to Dumaguete thru ship for 9 hours. When we arrived in Dumaguete, we did window shopping in Robinsons Mall and took the bus going to Zamboanguita for only 25 minutes. To avoid hassle, we just inform the bus driver drop us near in Thallata Resort. It is easy to find the resort because there is a sign in the highway indicating the name of Thalatta.
Thalatta Resort is a very nice and private place for a couple to spend vacation. It is far from the noise in the city and and the place is very romantic. The staff also are very friendly and the receptionist gave us a 15% discount in room accommodation. It has a sea water swimming pool, restaurant, massage house, bar and a perfect place to do diving activities. Unfortunately, we didn't able to visit in Apo Island and dive because the weather was fine but we really enjoyed our stay.

I rate the resort 9/10. The room rate is 3,300 pesos with free breakfast good for 2 pax. Diving, massage and other activities are not free. The foods are delicious but pricey, our room was very clean, and as I said earlier, the staffs are friendly and accommodating.
